St. Philothea, Monastic of Athens

St. Philothei (Philothea) was known for her acts of charity and philanthropic Monasteries. She also founded schools, homes for the elderly and hospices, ransomed slaves, and sheltered women who fled from enslavement in harems. St. Philothei died a Martyr.
